The 2nd Fight with Care charity gala, organised by La Roche-Posay and TELVA at Madrid’s Teatro Real, was held to raise funds for cancer research and improve the wellbeing of oncology patients. More than 200 people attended, including leading figures from science, healthcare and sport, as well as several influencers and public personalities. One of the evening’s most important moments was La Roche-Posay’s donation of a €100,000 cheque to the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) to support its research projects. In addition, a posthumous tribute was paid to singer Pau Donés, awarding him the 2024 Icon of Courage Award, followed by a musical tribute to his band, Jarabe de Palo. The event also included a charity bingo to support projects by the Spanish Group of Cancer Patients (GEPAC), with prizes donated by top athletes such as shirts from Susana Rodríguez and Alexia Putellas, a padel racket from Ale Galán, and a helmet from Marc Márquez, among others.
