Production. In 2019, the Davis Cup underwent a profound format renovation, and TBS was the company tasked with executing this audiovisual challenge at Madrid’s Caja Mágica. One week, 3 simultaneous courts in play, and a Superfeed signal that captured the best of each match on every court live. The complete production of all three courts, in addition to the live execution of the Superfeed signal, editing stations, and post-production, represented an unprecedented challenge for the company at that time, which we completed outstandingly. Since that year, TBS has been responsible for the production of all phases of the Davis Cup Finals held in Spain (Final Phase, Madrid Arena, 2021; Group Stage in Valencia and Finals in Malaga in 2022, 2023, and 2024). Signal Distribution for Finals and Qualifiers. During the Finals, all matches of the competition were broadcast live: venues like Valencia, Bologna, Split, Manchester, and Innsbruck were connected via fiber for signal transmission to our headquarters in Tres Cantos, where virtualized advertising was inserted and distributed worldwide based on the inserted advertising. During the Qualifiers, the challenge was no less significant: over 25 matches were played across the globe in just 3 days. We faced the challenge of bringing a signal from Taipei (China) to France or a Canada-Korea jump using all available means (satellite, fiber, streaming…). In total, 347 hours of live satellite broadcasts, 80 hours via fiber, and 49 television stations worldwide accessing this signal in real-time.
